Many documents for use in Spain need to legalised or apostilled in accordance with the Hague Convention of 1961.
It is virtually unheard of for clients to ask Anglo-Spanish Law only to legalise a document. Normally, there is some other work that needs doing, such as, for example, draft a Spanish power of attorney or prepare a Spanish Will. For more information, please click on the relevant link.
If, unusually, only legalisation is required, then the fees and disbursements of Anglo-Spanish Law depend on how quickly the job needs to be done. Assuming that the job needs to be done quickly, (ie with a turn around time of approximately one week), the cost in fees and disbursements is £100.00.
The job of legalising or apostilling a document is done in Mr Wagner's capacity as an English notary regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. For more details click Home page.
